Mack’s Pines Recreation Area

Welcome to the Trailriding Headquarters of the Ozarks Open 7 Days a Week (Café open Friday, Saturday, & Sunday) We hope everyone is doing well. Lots of folks have asked about a swimming hole ride this year and we aim to please, so we asked Val to help us put one together. I think she mapped out a pretty good ride that includes about 4 different swimming (wading) areas. All said and done it's about 5 miles of black top and close to 40 miles of forestry roads and trails. Plenty of fun to be had by everyone! To ensure that we give everyone ample opportunity to make reservations, I picked a weekend that none have been made yet. We have no reservations for the weekend of August 21st and 22nd. The ride will be on the 22nd. So anyone that is ready for some fun, call me and make sure that you leave a message, if I don't answer. If the machine doesn't give you an opportunity to leave a message, that means I'm on the phone, so keep trying. For anyone that doesn't want to stay with us, we will have room for day parking and I would think there will be rooms in Russellville as well. It is only about a 30 minute drive from here. So here’s the game plan, we will start handing out the maps for the ride about 9a.m. Saturday. Be sure and bring any picnic supplies, lunch and refreshments with you. Remember we will be getting wet so some towels might be a good idea. We are filling up fast for this great weekend! We don’t have any cabins left, only 17 RV spots left and of course lots of tent sites with no electric or water at the site still available. Thank all of you in advance for what I think will be a fun weekend. We hope to see y'all soon! Greg We require that everyone wear a mask in the café & store. We will be adhering to the Dept. of Health Guidelines. We are now open to out of state residents too. We will see y'all soon. Thanks again to each and ever one of y'all. "MACK'S PINES GUESTS ARE THE BEST"!!!!  This is information pertaining to closures in the national forest. So, in order to accommodate more fun seekers, I am going to set up a second one on the following Saturday, the 29th. Same start time, 9ish. So, if you can, give me a call and if I don't answer, leave a message. I will get back to you as soon as possible. We want to thank everyone for your continuing support and hope we can get as many as possible some accommodations for the rides. Thanks again!! Greg
